QB Chivarsky Corbett hooked up with Zach Dyer to give Tampa Catholic an early 7-0 lead, and then turned it over to the defense, as the Crusaders held off Bayshore 17-14 on Friday night.
Turnovers marred the 2nd half, but in the end Tampa Catholic starts the 2011 season with a victory.
