Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Lakewood 2022 SAF (6-2/180-190) – Physical. Great range. Alert in coverage. It would be hard to find another safety in the area with more range, covers more ground than McNeil-Warren. Turn on his film and watch his 6-2 frame move like a deer across the field. He plays the ball like a baseball center fielder and plays with confidence. He shows good transition speed once he dissects the play. Good in his pedal and plays with his pads over his toes. The physicality is easy to identify as the sideline is not where an offensive player wants to be against Emmanuel. At times, he takes bad angles to the football which slows down his approach and changes his point of attack. However, that can be corrected. Not a big deal. He is superior athletically.
Anthony Colandrea, Lakewood 2023 PSQB (5-11/165-175) – Quick release. Looks off secondary. Very fluid. We could go on and on about this kid. However, we’re going to hold off until the time is right. The video below jumps off the screen. The ball leaps from his hand and his mechanics are beautiful. Might go for 3,000 yards under Coach Cory Moore who loves to put the ball in the air.
