Short Capsule: The Tigers are in transition, unfortunately again. But the Garnett and Gold faithful are confident the new head Football Coach, Alonso Ashwood will lead the Tigers from “sub parness” to competitive once again. 2004 was the last year Middleton won their district and ended the season with an impressive 9-4 record. Since then, many feel that Middleton has underachieved. QB, Aaron Midthus will need to be the glue that holds the Tigers’ stripes together. He is surrounded by plenty of skillful talent, but the Tigers will have to stay healthy on both sides of the line as they are thin. Richard Benjamin’s name has popped up on many different national sporting websites for the attention he is getting as a potential college prospect. But, he will need to be a leader and coach on the field for the Tigers to be successful.

Fun Facts: Richard Benjamin has become one of the biggest recruits in the state, which gives Middleton a national stage.
