Recruiting Mailbag: Zhills and getting noticed

Justin Cobb: Will you help me with exposure? I’m a 2014 CB/WR and will be at your E7 showcase from Tampa Bay Tech.

BCP: If you have potential, show promise at E7 and have film to match, we can help. That’s is the reason for the BCP Exposure Series.

Jordan: I have a question. What school do you think has a better football program Tampa Bay Tech or Gaither?

BCP: Gaither! No TBT … No separation at this point. Both are trying to build under new head coaches and are on the right track. No answer to this question at this point.

Kevin: Does Zephyrhills High School have any D1 prospects?

BCP: Devin Brockington is a division 1 prospect. He is getting D1 sniffs, but nothing solid yet. He is their best 2014 prospect.

Jerri: How is the best way to get your athlete noticed… ? The coach and the school are not girl sports excited help!

BCP: Confused on the second part of your question. But will answer the initial question. No matter what you do, he has to be a player with film to match. Attend the right showcases and camps so the media can help create a buzz.

Kagan: What does it mean when a coach comes to your school and calls you out of class to speak with you?

BCP: Means he wants to size you up and get a first impression of your mannerism. Good thing, but does not mean the school will actively recruit you.
