Nydarius Roberts: Why are there uncommittable offers?

BCP: Couple of answers depending on the situation. Overall, it basically means a recruit is a plan B or C guy. They’ll only take the commitment if they don’t get someone else. The reason a recruit is a plant B or C guy varies:
– Talent level
– measurables
– academic issues
– character
– previous injury
– senior evaluation kid
– list goes on

However, this is nothing new. College coaches will also use this to gauge the interest level of a prospect, will a good indication they will or will not get the prospects at the top of their recruiting board per position.

Shane Williams: Will any BCP combines or camps hurt my child’s exposure to college coaches for example the upcoming E7 Training Camp?

BCP: The MISSION STATEMENT isBig County Preps will create, develop, coordinate and promote a variety of opportunities to assist in providing maximum exposure for Tampa Bay Athletes. So “Hurt” goes directly against what we are attempting to accomplish.

Next, the kid can play or he can’t. We can’t create a player. He has talent or he does not. If he can play, it is easy to promote him. If he has some skill and some ability, the job becomes a little tougher. If he is not a college prospect because of his talent level and measurables, that is exactly what it is
