Sunday June 9th, Roughly 100 prospects will run the field at Larry Sanders Sports Complex for the BCP E7 Training Camp. They will be put to the test, coached hard and compete for a chance to get recognized by Big County Preps and other media outlets. The majority of the prospects wiLL show up at E7 with few to no college scholarship offers. They just want a chance for us to promote them to college coaches and learn new football techniques. One way to accomplish that goal, SHOW OUT ON 6.9.13. Here is a quick breakdown of a few prospects to watch out for.
OUT OF STATE
Todd Bradley, 2016 Valdosta High (GA) ILB – Bradley is a good looking prospect on film. Runs well, tracks the ball, good pass drops and instinctive for the position. I am curious to see how he competes versus the Florida talent in a showcase setting.
TRANSFER TO SHINE
Adam Harris, 2014 Clearwater –> Largo WR – Quietly, Harris is one of the better slot receivers in Pinellas County. Solid performer for Clearwater last season, Harris has taken his talents to Largo to join forces with talented Packers. Not a lots of ink for Harris, he is expected to have a good Sunday.
6FT RB
Nate Simmons, 2016 Newsome RB – I know nothing about this freshman prospect, but that is one reason to attend E7; get out the no name circle. Looking at the roster, seeing a 6 foot RB, catches the eye off measurements alone. Hopefully his talents will be a positive addition.
BIG AND DIRTY
Justin Edwards, 2014 Tampa Bay Tech DT – “Big E” is coming off a knee injury that sidelined him for a few months during the offseason. A big two gap player, Edwards is strong and uses his hand extremely well.
DOUBLE TAKE
Isaiah Osby2014, Tampa Catholic WR – Osby was a E7 Warner participant a few months ago and performed well. This time around he has a target on his back as I am expecting him to repeat his performance. No longer a no name in our book. But, a prospect looking to have his name highlighted in our database.
