RECRUITING RECRUITING FEATURES

Playoff Late Bloomers

Recruiting is about to pick up hot and heavy in late November and early December as the college football season starts to conclude. Lots of college recruiting boards will evolve as prospects are added and subtracted from recruiting list. Some players will bloom late and attract more attention later in the year and early in 2015. Below are a few players that are on playoff teams that should pick up interest in the coming months.

7A
Lakeland (11-0) at Osceola-Kissimmee (10-1)
Aaron Johnson, Lakeland QB – recent South Alabama decommit. Will likely be recruited harder by larger programs as a athlete. Able to play receiver or defensive back. Good speed and ability. 6-1/180

Leroy Deshazor, Lakeland WR/S – 6-0/170 receiver should start to grab more attention in december. Smooth, fluid route runner and good hands. Nice frame to grow into with wide shoulders.

6A
Sunlake (9-2) at Gainesville (6-5)
Austin Yeloushan, Sunlake LB – At 6-2/225 Austin will be a steal. In addition to his size, he is fast, athletic and aggressive. Feels the game and finds the ball. Will start to get lower division interests as recruiting boards start to get updated.

Nathan Johnson, Sunlake RB – The days of the big running back are not gone. The power offense still exist and Johnson will attract schools that run the power offense. He is a better inside runner and the right system will be key.

Armwood (11-0) at Venice (10-1)
Noah Johnson, Armwood QB – Recently picked up an offer from Alcorn State. Under 6 foot tall, but where he lacks in size, he makes up in mobility and accuracy.
