Hoops: Brandon Eagles new faces providing production

SCHOOL: Brandon High School

TEAM CHEMISTRY: Young talented roster that is led by Senior Guard Dante Mitchell. Freshman Guards Messiah Turner and Stephonse Mack have proven they belong and have given the Eagles a big boost in their backcourt to compete in Class 7A District-7.

PLAYER THAT HAS SURPRISED SO FAR: Freshman Guard Stephonse Mack. Mack saw significant minutes over the holiday break and averaged 10ppg along with 5rpg.

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER FROM LAST SEASON: Sophomore Guard Romillo Fields. Teams 2nd leading scorer at 14.6 ppg and has made over 50 3pt field goals midway through the season.

TEAM’S TOUGHEST TEST SO FAR: Auburndale High School tested the Eagles with their up -tempo style of play. Matchup provided the Eagles great competition to prepare for regional play.
