Well, the success of a team starts up front. We hear the same over and over again and for good reason. In this case, this athlete does good on both sides of the ball. Coaches rave about his selflessness and we rave about his ability to produce at a high level all the time. Remember the name.
Nick Terrana, Jesuit (Tampa), 2018, OLB
Jesuit may have one of the best linebacking units in the area. Hard to miss that long, rangy, athletic outside linebacker off the edge, Nick Terrana. His film is great and he is a lot more physical than expected. Best when coming off the edge and attacking the ball carrier in the backfield. Good pass rusher, good in his pass drops. Highly productive last season with ambitions of being better this year.
Ethan Carde, Bloomingdale, 2019, OT
Bloomingdale may be one of the most exciting offenses of 2017. Could be premature, but that’s a warning for teams who have to play them. With that said, for them to score points like we think they can, the offensive line is crucial. Ethan Carde will be the anchor at the backside tackle position.
