Tristan Cooper, Plant 2013 WR visited Florida Atlantic this weekend. According to Cooper the visit went great. “I loved it,” exclaimed the 2013 WR prospect. Cooper said he really liked the youth of the program and the direction it is headed, “Just how young the school and the program itself is”.

After a solid season for the Panthers, leading the team in receiving yards, Cooper focused hard on his future and where he may continue his education and play football. He is a possession receiver who will likely thrive as a slot. “They see me as mostly a slot receiver,” said Tristan.

The question arose if USF was going to offer Tristan after his father, Ron Cooper accepted the defensive backs coaching job at USF after spending one season with the Tampa Bay Bucs. Nothing came of that, at least not yet.

Cooper left FAU with a great feeling and said the visit changed his opinion of the school and football program. “Yeah definitely in a good way. I definitely feel really good about FAU. Like I said, I loved it down there and I think they’re headed in the right direction.”
