Offensive Guard & Nose tackle

Dwayne Williams is our 4th best interior offensive lineman prospect. Lots of interest from a number of schools. Still looking for that big offer, but his motivation continues to rise without it.

“What really pushes and motivates me to be great is thinking about my future. I love to play the game of football….I think it pushes me to become a better person, a better team player, a stronger leader and positive role model. I want to get my education so I can make a strong foundation for my future. I don’t want to struggle when finding my path for the future. I feel that it is a blessing that I may have the opportunity to use my skills as a football player as a platform to receiving a higher education.”

Williams is entering his senior season after missing the majority of his junior season due to injury. “I believe that God has blessed me with the natural talent and the opportunity to become someone great. I feel that God has a plan for me and I have faith in that knowledge.”

In 2010 the Mulberry Panther were a 1-9 team under head coach, Charlie Warren. Raliegh Jackson was hired in 2011 and the team improved to 2-8. Last season they were 5-5 and looking for the playoffs in 2013. “Being at a small school has motivated me to become great. I get tired of all the haters and people saying that ‘I can’t make it at Mulberry.’ We might not have a state championship title but I have as much heart and passion as any state winning team. And I know that I can make it anywhere. My favorite motivational saying is from Matthew 19:26; “With God ALL things are possible”.
