Donterio Fowler, Northeast 2014 ATH

Donterio Fowler, Northeast 2014 ATH
5-9/170 lbs

Donterio Folwer is trying to make his own mark and move from under the large shadow his older brother, Dante Fowler (Florida Gator) left behind. One of many threats for The Northeast Vikings, Fowler is hoping his recruitment takes off.  He currently hold a Bowling Green offer, yet stumped why that is his only.

This year’s spring game, Fowler displayed versatility; started the game with a pop. A big kick off return for a touchdown seem to have set the tone for the game. A few catches here and there, along with a pretty interception, Fowler put together a solid performance.

Donterio took the time to answer a few questions for us regarding his recruiting activity.

Why do you think you are not getting as much recruiting attentions as others at your position?
DF: I honestly don’t know why I’m not getting any attention with this recruiting process.

Do you think your brother’s popularity has helped or hurt the expectations outsiders have for you?
DF: A lot of people expected me to be as big as my brother. And when they see me all they say is “wow he’s small.”

What schools are showing the most interest? and are you visiting any schools this summer (which ones)?
They aren’t really showing me attention. And I just came from a bus tour with Unsigned Preps. But in July I’m going Friday Night Lights.

Which side of the ball are you more comfortable on and why?
I’m more comfortable at WR because I just started playing DB.

What is your biggest asset as a prospect? What do you do extremely well?
Great route runner and I’m explosive. A PLAYMAKER!
