Shane is a 2014 Ignite Showcase participant who showed very well and threw with the best of them. We wanted to find out more about the Bull QB and he let us into his world in the following Q & A.

BCP: Who is your role model, and why?
SHANE: My grandfather! Because no matter how sick or how hurt he is, he always comes to my games.

BCP: What things do you not like to do?
SHANE: I don’t like to sleep in late and I’m not into “drama.”

BCP: Tell me about an accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant in your career.
SHANE: Being named to the Academic All Conference team while playing two sports my sophomore year and getting the first win at Wiregrass Ranch in two seasons.

BCP: What’s your superpower, or what’s your spirit animal?
SHANE: I can see into the future and I see myself playing college football.

BCP: So, what’s your story? – Tell me anything I should know about you!
SHANE: I’m very self-motivated, and I love being doubted by people who think or say I can’t do things.

BCP: Tell me about a time when things didn’t go the way you wanted and how you reacted.
SHANE: Our past season didn’t go the way I wanted, and it just made me work harder this off-season.

BCP: What is one misconception people have about you?
SHANE: I’m not approachable. The reality is, I’m a down to earth, friendly, shy person.

BCP: If you could wave a magic wand, what ill in the world would you solve and why?
SHANE: Cancer. Too many people’s lives have been cut short, and too many families have suffered from this disease.

BCP: You are on your death bed for what do you want to be remembered?
SHANE: I plan on living a long full life, so when I die, I want to be remembered as a good husband, a good father, and someone who lived in his hopes and not in his fears.
