Winter Haven’s Mills to make position change but will enhance his recruitment

Position change is not always bad. Many times, it can reveal talent and intangibles that were not evident before. Winter Haven CB, Darian Mills is a solid, technical CB. However, he is anticipating a position change to QB during the spring. Depending on how he is used, this move will show decision making, leadership, versatility and vision. All while still highlighting footwork, hips, explosion and speed.

DARIAN MILLS
WINTER HAVEN, 2014 CB

MY STRENGTHS…
My strengths as a prospect are speed, understanding my assignment and ability to make big plays.

I WANT TO IMPROVE…
I can improve on staying lower in and out my breaks, coming up to support the run also recognizing what the offense is doing and use it to my advantage.

MY COMPETITION…
Kendrick Holland (Winter Haven, WR) my good friend we have that edge to get each other better and try beating one another while doing it.

INTEREST…
No offers yet. Some interest from South Florida and Georgia. Visited Georgia Saturday and will be visiting Central Florida.

RAY LEWIS…
Ray Lewis puts me in a set of mind that hard work beats talents and no matter how tough it gets, trust God and he will make a way.

STILL GET THE JOB DONE…
This year I am anticipating playing quarterback. I will only be at DB on special occasions. The coaches are still debating on if they will let me go both ways. What ever it takes for us to be successful.
