Walker showing consistency for East Bay

Gaej WalkerEast Bay Indians started the season 2-2 before last week’s loss to Plant City. That gives East Bay two district losses and needing plenty of help for a Playoff birth.

Though the season has been up and down for the Indians, one player who has been steady, senior Gaej Walker. Walker has done just about everything for the Indians playing RB, CB and Returner. His selfless play has captured the attention of his head coach Frank Larosa. “Gaej NEVER leaves the field! He is our leading rusher, scoring leader and has played every snap on defense at CB, as well. Against Plant City, Gaej lined up across TJ Chase (oral WR Clemson commit) most of the night. Chase had ZERO catches vs Gaej although he was targeted several times.”

On the season Walker has totaled 283 rushing yards, 4 TDs, 336 all-purpose yards, 5 tackles and 1 interception.

Coach Larosa also stated the below player played very well against his team:

Durant, #49 (Trace Edmonson, DT Sr. 6-3/255) – “Played great in the trenches.”

Plant City, #7 (Steven Ogletree,MLB, RB Jr. 6-0/225) – “PHYSICAL!! I had to show him love after the game, this kid earned it!”

Plant City, #4 (Markese Hargrove, RB, WR, CB Sr. 5-9/170) – “Tough to tackle and a heck of a blocker.”

Sweet little run by Gaej Walker
