East Lake Alumnus is Flying High

East Lake Alumnus Tyler Higbee is climbing to the top of the hill for the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky this season after being added to the Fred Biletnikoff Award watch list his week that goes to the nation’s top pass catcher at the end of the season. Tyler was already on the Fred Mackey Watch List which goes to the nation’s top Tight End. Higbee’s already hitting his career high’s through four games of the season of WKU catching 26 passes for 354 yards and four touchdowns this season. His previous high for catches in a season was 15 and Higbee has already tied his career high for number of touchdowns in a season. Higbee’s career numbers are currently at 56 receptions for 845 yards and 10 touchdowns and WKU is 3-1 on the season as they enter their preparation for this week at Rice in a Conference USA tilt.
