Lakewood 2013 WR Marquez Valdez took an official visit to North Carolina State this weekend and from the sound of it, he really enjoyed his time with the Wolfpack.

Valdes is a stud 6-3 receiver with strong hands and crisp routes. Valdes decommitted from Louisville a few weeks back and has eyes and ears open as National Signing Day approaches.

The 3rd Team All BCP selection had an estimated 750 yards receiving and 13 TDs this season.

Valdes took a minute to answer a few quick questions about his visit.

BCP: How did the visit go this weekend?
MV: The visit was great. Everything I look for in a school.

BCP: Anything new that opened your eyes?
MV: NO

BCP: Where do you fit in within their scheme?
MV: I fit in as a freshman starter because of the spread type of offense they changed too.

BCP: Did the visit change your opinion on the school and football program either for the good or bad?
MV: The visit changed my opinion about the school. A good thing because my major is offered there and I was unsure about that part.
