RECRUITING RECRUITING FEATURES

Travis Johnson Update

Travis Johnson

Jesuit 2013 WR Travis Johnson visited the University of Cincinnati this past weekend. The 6-4 TOP 10 BCP stud opened up his recruitment a few weeks backs after being a Miami commit for the majority of the 2012 season.

Johnson said of his visit, “Loved it. Like how everyone got along well even though it was a new staff and nothing but smiles”. Johnson has been drenched in the recruiting process for sometime now and said nothing really opened his eyes or surprised him.

“The Big Show” did not post crazy numbers this year due to Jesuit’s offensive struggles, but he was still one of the most opposing offensive threats in the county. He says the Bearcats have plans to use him as an H-Back and play him at as many offensive positions as possible. “I’m going to be used like the Patriots use Aaron Hernandez. Used all over. Trying to make match up problems”.

The visit gave Travis Johnson a better outlook on the Bearcat program. “Changed it for the good. I knew it would. Just had to get on campus and get a look with my own eyes”.

Johnson has not set a commitment date and still has much homework to do. However, it sounds like Cincinnati is seating pretty with Johnson so far. “The visit was great. Met the coaches and players. Pretty cool meeting the players in person that I have been watching on TV. And I have a strong chance of coming in as a true freshman and play due to TE depth”.
