After a MVP performance at the University of Miami one day camp, Jesuit 2013 WR Travis Johnson has verbal committed to the University of Miami. Johnson becomes the second Tampa Bay verbal commit for Miami. St. Petersburg High 2013 TE, Jeremy Kerr is also a Miami verbal commit.

Johnson will likely make the transition to play the H-Back at Miami where he will be used in a variety of ways to create mismatch problems for opposing defenses. Johnson is the #6 ranked player in our coverage area and has been ranked as our #1 ranked WR for the last two years.

Johnson accounted for 653 yards receiving this season for the Tigers, 4 receiving TDs and 7 interception. At 6-4, Johnson should fit in just fine

at a program known for producing NFL caliber TEs.
