THE HEAD DRAGON STEPS DOWN

After eight seasons as the Jefferson Dragons head football coach Jeremy Earles as resigned. Earle cited wanting to spend more time with his family as his reason for stepping down. The Dragons finished the 2017 season at 8-3 and a 3 seed in class 5A region 3.

Earle took over as the head coach in 2011 after the 2010 season as the offensive coordinator under Mike Fenton. That Jefferson team went 15-0 winning the District Championship, Regional Championship and class 5A state championship.
