Tampa Bay Tech – Titans Clash

The Titans were ready to hit when head coach Jayson Roberts blew the whistle to signal Oklahomas.

2013 ATH Richard Benjamin got things started, putting a would-be tackler on his back while he strolled past for an easy touchdown. “Rich Boy” was dominant all practice long beating teammates with his feet, hands and shoulders. He spent some time playing defensive back, where he says he’ll play as a backup safety as well as the No. 1 receiver.

In addition to Benjamin a number of players stood out as Tampa Bay Tech looks to “Titan Up” this season.

2015 OL/DL Manzy Velasquez – Will be the anchor to the Tech OL in the next few years. A big freshman who will continue to grow, Velasquez will be a great prospect blocking the backside for QB Fullwood, as well as rushing up the middle.

2014 QB Tyjee Fullwood – In the midst of a QB battle Fullwood showed good quickness with his feet and decent arm strength. A transfer from East Bay, Fullwood rushed for over 700 yards as a freshman. East Bay coaches says that Fullwood has what you can’t coach. “It’s called, can’t catch him.”

2013 DL Antonio Guerad – A great frame to go along with good upper body strength, Guerad will continue to blossom into a top DE this season.

2013 DL Clifton Dilworth – Great footwork, high motor. Good lower body strength.

2014 WR Donzell Polite – Good route runner. A bit undersized, but quick. Will play a major role from the slot position.

2013 DL/OL Jevon Fripp – May turn into a big time center prospect. Will anchor both the OL and DL. Great footwork, hand speed.

2014 LB Tre Watson – Explosive at the point of attack. Punishing hits.

2013 RB JT Thompson – Likes to hit. High energy, quick to the second level.
