Tampa Bay Tech built a strong 21-0 lead at halftime and that was enough to hold off a late push by King to win 35-28 on the Subway Restaurants BHSN Game of the Week. For Head Coach Jayson Roberts, it was his first career victory.
The Titans (1-1) got rushing touchdowns from four different players (Deon Thompson, Larmarq Caldwell, Qareeb Ahmed and Cludner Lecount) in the victory.
Lecount was the BHSN player of the game, combining for 96 rushing yds, 88 receiving yds, and 2 total TDs.
King QB Greg Windham was under pressure all night, but still finished the game with 324 yards, 3 TD, 1 rushing TD and 2 INTs. WR Chris Murray had a huge game for the Lions with 7 receptions, 247 yards and 2 TDs.
