Gaither head football coach, Jason Stokes hires former Lennard and Tampa Bay Tech offensive coordinator, Daryl Stewart as his offensive coordinator. Stewart served as the OC under CC Culpepper at TBT and then worked under George Edington at Lennard last season. Stokes tells BCP that he has always been a fan of the double wing option offensive which Stewart ran at TBT and feels that this will give Gaither the best chance of success in 2012.  Because the offensive line struggled in pass protection and the WR group returns fairly inexperienced, Gaither will rely heavily on the running game.  “I know it’s not sexy, but I think we will be successful at it.  We will also implement some spread stuff which will open up because of the run game”. ~ Jason Stokes.
