OBSERVATIONS from practice
Smooth, crisp, up tempo practice. One of the best I have attended. There was little down time between water breaks and segment transitions. Every coach was involved in every aspect of practice in some capacity. No player was ever NOT involved or working on their craft.

TJ SIMMONS
Heard lots about him, watched limited film on him and have had several conversations with the 2015 RB prospect. However, seeing him in pads, live and in person was a treat. He looks the part and performs even better. 5-11/195 lbs running back looked really smooth coming off a season ending injury last year which sidelined him for the whole spring. He was very explosive, showed excellent lateral movement and vision. The Vikings are excited about his return and I was excited to see the prospect in action. He is an easy sell to college recruiters.

THE HITTERS
Jovante Williams, OG 2014 – Big, physical lineman. Very aggressive at the point of attack and good foot movement

Rafael Pressley, ATH 2014 – Out currently, due to injury

Christian Alexander, QB 2015 – Will be one of the top QB prospects in the state next spring.

Leroy Deshazor, WR 2015 – Could develop into a really good CB prospect

OUTLOOK
They have enough skill and big enough up front to make a good run and have another 7 or better win season. The role payers must pick up their play and the stars have to shine bright.
