Sebring High RB, one to spot

AJ Gayle
Sebring High 2014 RB
5-11/213lbs

Gayle describes himself as very hardworking, dedicated and willing to do what it takes mentally and physically to get to the next level. Though he is tough as nails on the field, he admits that not having a father figure is a tougher blow than taking a blind side hit.  But it has not slowed him down.

Raised by his mother, AJ attended Lake Placid High for his first two years of high school. Located in a small town, he and his school did not get much exposure. As a freshmen, Gayle carried the ball 234 times, for 956 yds, and 13 rushing TDs.

He was just as consistent his sophomore year: 189 attempts, 1056 yds and 8 rushing TDs, “I will be looking to keep building this year as a junior,” says Gayle.

MAJOR COLLEGE FACTORS
“A school that I would be able to major in business. Good overall school, nice facilities, good coaches and playing time.”

FAVORITE COLLEGE TEAM
Gayle grew up watching the Noles but is not opposed to playing against them. “Florida State Seminoles mostly because it’s a team that I grew up watching and today still love their style of play.”

AJ was an ALL COUNTY SELECTION as a sophomore and says, “I don’t play the game of football just because I am a good athlete. I play the game because I have a passion for it which is what drives me 110% every snap of the ball game.”

He is powerful ball carrier with excellent vision to see the whole field and find the holes in the defense…hits the hole full force and will issue contact to any defender between him and the goal line. See Gayle work below.
