Short Capsule: Freedom has consistently underachieved. The time is now for the Patriots to live up to the hype, just win! 4 of 6 losses last season were by 10 points or less. This is a sign that the Patriots focus going into the spring is learning how to finish ball games. Jon Economou is penciled in as the starting QB. Much anticipation around this young man, but lack of experience will be a hurdle for him. Center, Kurt Schaller will be asked to anchor the offensive line to secure the success of first year starting QB, Economou. The Patriots have enough skill players to make some teams nervous, but they have to find the right way to put it all together.

“Saying Goodbye” (graduation or transfer):
Keith Lewis, LB
Josh Tanner, LB
Robert Lohnes, ATH
Dustin Rauh, TE/WR

“Hello Again” (key returners or potential Impact Players):
Kurt Schaller, OL/DL, 2012
Jon Economou, QB, 2012
Isaac Tanner, LB, 2013
Larry Thorpe, S, 2012
Tyrel Nunn, CB, 2012

“Must Have”:
• Create pressure on opposing quarterbacks
• Secondary must be the strength of the defense
• Increase average rush attempts per game

“Uh-oh”: Freedom can not afford to get out played late in the game. The emphasis is on being able to control the game and win the game when the score is close.
