Short Capsule: What you can say about Lennard is, the program is getting better. 5 wins in 2010 was the best in the young history of the school. The Longhorns won the first 4 games of the 2010 season in impressive fashion, but then lost 5 of the last 6 in disappointing fashion. Head Coach, George Edington has the program moving on the right track. The defense doesn’t need to fill as many hole as the offense. Mainly because of returning line backer, David Sanders, who totaled 103 tackles last season as a junior. Nick Salomon and Calvin Benton will have to pull double duty on the offensive line and defensive line to give the Longhorns their best chance of success. The big question right now is who will replace leading rusher Tevin Abney? Abney accounted for one third of the Lennard rush yards in 2010.

Fun Facts: Pete Foret will be only the third quarterback to play for the Longhorns in team history. Andrew Burdick and Fred Porter were the previous two.

• More completion for the starting RB
• Better play from the offensive line
• Develop an aggressive pass rush

“Uh-oh”: Can’t afford to have sloppy offensive linemen play. The Longhorns have question at the offensive line positions that need answers.
