Pugh’s View: The Big Red by all accounts was under the radar last year, but managed to quietly put together yet another solid season under one of the Deans of Hillsborough County Football in Coach Garcia. They’re in an unbelievably difficult district, but if anybody is prepared for it (even beyond Armwood and Jefferson) it’s the Terriers. Hillsborough was already district rivals with Armwood and King, and they play Jefferson for neighborhood bragging rights every year so familiarity may work in their favor. As always, their biggest game will be against the ‘Wood, but this could be the year they shock the world. That’s why they play the game right?

Must Have: Quarterback Jeremy Arginzonis MUST step his game up to the next level and make the throws when they count the most. He has been busting his butt this offseason, so big things expected are from him. The Terriers must adapt to live without “Mr. Do-it-all” Charles Lovett who is off to Colorado State this fall.

Uh-Oh: Protect the QB or else. Untimely turnovers could spell doom for the Big Red against one of the toughest and talented districts in the entire State of Florida as well. One of the toughest schedules in the Bay Area, but ask the Hillsborough Faithful and Staff and they’ll tell you that’s just the way they like it.
