Short Capsule: Here we go! The Patriots are finally able to compete for a state title. Since the CDS first announced the start of their football program, they have been competing with an independent schedule, which prevented them for advancing in the state playoffs and competing for a state title. All that has changed in 2011 as Head Football Coach, Lane McLaughlin will prepare his troops for their new district and competitive schedule. The Patriots are lead by QB, Deuce Gruden who will once again be counted on as the team leader. In 2010, Gruden passed for over 1500 yards and 15 TDs. He also doubles on defense where he is pain in the neck for opposing ball carriers. Running back, Robert Davis and wide receiver, Dillon Floyd will be heavily counted on make plays on the ground and through the air. The Patriots did not lose too much and return a veteran team with the make up for success.
