Pugh’s View: The Lancers will need to plug the holes up front if they’re going to make any noise in a very competitive district. They return some key contributors namely Daniel Hamilton who led them in rushing however and will need to find a replacement for QB Michael McDermott who accounted for over 1,700 yards and 18 TD’s. They’ll need to pull off some serious upsets along the way, but I don’t see them being at the bottom of the 5-2A standings either.

Must Have: Someone be the TD machine that McDermott was. The Lancers next closest contributor in that category had six.

Uh-Oh: Any sort of slow start to the season could be disastrous. There’s opportunity to really get it going with Bishop McLaughlin & Canterbury at home to start the season.
