Carrollwood Day 2013 RB Robert Davis ended his career in the record books. He broke Lydell Ross Hillsborough County single season rushing record of 2150 yards with 2221 yards of his own.

On top of his record breaking season, Davis was a Cincinnati Bearcat verbal commit before decommitting earlier this month. Options began to open up for Davis and he decided to open his recruitment.

Top schools currently for Davis are Memphis, Cincinnati, Purdue and Boston College. Davis does not have an offer from Boston College or Purdue yet, but expects to receive offers from both programs after the college dead period concludes in January. “I will definitely be taking a visit to Memphis on January 18-20,” says Davis.

Robert Davis ended his career in the books, but wishes he had a few more games. “Last year was a great year. Just wish I could have led my team further in the playoffs!”

On the season, Davis rushed the ball 203 times for 2221 yards, averaging 10.94 yards per carry, 201.9 yards per game and 26 rushing TDs. He had 5 games over 200 yards and 7 multi TD games, scoring 162 points. Versus First Baptist was his lowest output of his senior year: 19 carries for 101 yards and 1 TD.
