I know what you are saying, “Another good Armwood player? Tell me something new”. Yes, another good Armwood player that could be flying under the radar with all the other big time recruits in their locker room. This one is not getting all the national, state or local media love, but all his coaches rave about how good of a player he is. Baines is an East Bay transfer that only played a portion of the 2010 season. He is fast, has great instinct and is hungry to regain what he has lost. He has aspirations of playing college football and is not talking about it, but showing it. This year, Baines is soaking it all up and appreciating every snap he gets.

BCP: How do you compare yourself to some of the other highly recruited players in the area?
Baines: I don’t really compare myself to anyone. I am hungry though and I think I want ‘it’ more.

BCP: What’s the biggest difference between East Bay and Armwood?
Baines: Armwood gets you prepared for the next level, not just the next game.

BCP: What are your strengths and where do you need to improve?
Baines: I am a great tackler and shoot the gaps well. I just find the football. I need to get better on my zone pass drops.

BCP: What kind of player would you bring to a college football program?
Baines: A smart, fast and physical player.

BCP: What schools are currently showing you interest?
Baines: Not many right now. My coach says Samford and another one, but can’t remember the name right now.
