His junior season film makes one thing clear.. Hernando 2019 RB Izzy Fields runs the football with a purpose. The fully qualified power back produced 878 hard-earned rushing yards and 17 TDs this season while averaging a very impressive 8.3 yards per carry. Slowing down Izzy became a point of emphasis for opposing defenses this season, but they weren’t very successful. He is a very powerful and physical runner. He gets north and south with a sense of urgency and doesn’t go down easily. He fights through tackles often and punishes defenders. Hernando will have to replace Isaac Fields (his brother) and Ygenio Booker on offense, but returning Izzy along with Boston Tafelski and David Hale Bronson should give football fans in Brooksville hope for defending their district championship in 2018.
