Ridgewood vs Robinson

Alonso Holiday Classic – Ridgewood lit up the gym this afternoon in a shooting frenzy. The Rams were virtually unstoppable from behind the 3 point line. Robinson fell 75-63, attempted a late game comeback trading buckets with Ridgewood. But, It was too little, too late. The Knights had no answer for Ridgewood’s army of sharp shooters.

Senior Brandon Green led all scorers with 28 points and senior Tristan Ficarro had 18 points of his own. Robinson did have a bright spot in Justin Madison who grinded out 26 points.

The first half of the game was slow. Neither team really set the gym on fire. Enough turnovers to make the fans shake their heads. Second quarter, the Rams started to put the ball in hoop. The further the Robinson defense extended, the further the Ram shooters would hit shots. Robinson started to make a run late in the 3^rd quarter behind Justin Madison.  However, as both teams were trading baskets, Ridgewood was getting 3 points for theirs while Robinson was getting 2.

Ridgewood will play Armwood tomorrow in the winner bracket at 3:30 pm while Robinson moves to the losers bracket and will play Wesley Chapel at noon
