The Clearwater Tornadoes are full of playmakers, but this member of the Class of 2017 could be the most responsible for destruction to opposing defenses when the lights come on. His name is Adarius Lemons and he was responsible for nearly 1,300 yards in total and recorded 13 touchdowns for the season in 2014 as a quarterback and running back. Lemons also played at the free safety position, but it is his skill-set at the running back position that has folks thinking he could be one of the premier backs in the entire county starting this season. Lemons already possesses a 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame that he uses flawlessly and his running style looks tailor-made for either a power scheme or a spread. Lemons cuts on a dime and does not bother even to give change to defenders in the open field and his strides are like a thoroughbred once he starts kicking. Lemons rushed for 932 yards for Clearwater last season. Lemons and his Clearwater squad take on Clearwater Central Catholic in their spring game next week.
