Saying Goodbye:
Jarek Chrzanowski (OL)
Jared Hatch (DE)
Jared Stippert (DL/OL)

Hello Again:
Billy Pavlock (QB)
Hunter Beam (WR)
Kenny Blanch (RB/DB)

Pugh’s View: The Hurricanes were cruising and had opened the eyes of a few skeptics until their self-implosion that led to seven-straight losses to end the season. They’re under new management with Matt Lepain at the helm and will most likely get out of the high-strike capability of the spread and get into a more ball-controlled scheme. The triplets of Pavlock, Blanch, and Beam are back and they’ve got some talented underclassmen that could see some valuable minutes on both sides. All three are next-level worthy.  Anything can happen in a 4-team district.

Must Have: Ball control and leadership on defense. They’ve got to replace beef on both lines and need to pick up the new scheme as quickly as possible. Also must have the same work ethic they’ve shown in recent past and they will be fine.

Uh-oh: Cannot have any implosions from within and be consistent on offense until they sort out what’s happening with their defense or the season could repeat itself.
