Alonso High Athletic Director, KR Lambordia confirmed with BCP via text, that Brian Emanuel has accepted the job as the new head football coach at Alonso High School.  Emanuel has spent time as co-offensive line coach at Hillsborough High, offensive coordinator at Gaither High and offensive coordinator at Alonso High (this past season) under Lee Meitzler who just recently stepped down as the head football coach. Earlier this year, Emanuel took the offensive coordinator job at Hillsborough High; Earl Garcia was excited to have him back on staff.  Once word got to me today that Emanuel took the job, I sent him a text to confirm and his response was “Yea Buddy!  I’m extremely excited. This is a great opportunity for me to work with a great bunch of kids, teachers and administration.  Alonso is a great place where we can mentor young men and win a lot of games. ”  Chip Bennett, who coached QBs at Alonso last season had this to say about Emanuel, “I’ve been around a lot of asst
