2013 Ignite Showcase
OL/DL Breakdown (Ignite coaches)

Corey Martinez, Tampa Catholic 2014 OT
Good vertical/lateral mobility, foot quickness, and foot/hand coordination, strong/physical at point of attack. Will continue to increase recoverability, ankle flexibility, and overall explosiveness.
Coaching Notes: Did not run block but this kid was best pass blocker last Saturday. If you watch best of best, he kick punches, keeps his chin in line with feet, power steps back down the LOS finishes. That’s what we OL coaches ask…PERIOD!
Isaiah Wynn, Lakewood 2014 OT
Extreme athleticism and twitch, physical at point of attack, great hand and foot coordination, great foot quickness, good frame for weight gain, longer upper body extremities; Will continue to improve overall strength and weight gain, given length really liked on interior.
Coaching Notes: The entire tri-county region agrees he’s probably the best run blocking Tackle. Needs to continue to work on his pass blocking. He has a strong punch but doesn’t always us it. Gets his chin over his toes and leans when he doesn’t punch. He finishes well which makes up for the intermittent punch and leaning. The great thing about him is he accepted the coaching he has to work on these areas to play tackle at the next level.
Montel McBride, Plant City 2014 OG
Extremely physical at POA (point of attack), good foot quickness and initial explosiveness. BIG frame and body, mid-range limbs, good lateral mobility, needs to develop vertical mobility and recoverability. Will continue to develop body-conditioning for improved athleticism and overall mobility.
Frank Carter III, Hillsborough 2014 OG
Good physical and mental toughness, competitive, good redirection and foot quickness. Uses hands well. Will continue to develop overall body strength and conditioning to improve hip flexibility and ability to play in football position; also develop ankle flexibility.
Quincy Robinson, Plant City 2014 OL
Good athleticism, hand use, and overall flexibility, good explosive twitch, long frame with long extremities. Will put on weight and strength for position; recoverability works with length, needs to develop lateral mobility and rush angles – good raw talent.
Richard Bush, Plant 2014 OL
Probably the best punch, it’s so good in fact that he punches and goes straight into a finish because it neutralizes DLinemen. Has to be careful not to rely on that too much. Posts good for a center and finishes strong.
John Broome, Plant City 2014 DL
Nice talent. Quick hands and nice size. Kick angle should be less down the LOS and more backward.
David Mills, Robinson 2014 OL
Good kick, average punch, developing “Power step and finish”.
Sedrick King, Plant City 2014 DE
Good feet, Explosive get off, a leverage player, works the edges, great motor.
Angel Marrero, Freedom 2014 DL
RELENTLESS! Explosive get off, quick off edges, closes corner quick. Young guy huge upside!
Scott Patchan, Freedom 2015 DL
Explosive get off, long arms, violent hands, worked hard competed well against big dog linemen of Wynn and Martinez.
East Bay kids (Marques Ford, Eric Bennett and Eric Latortue) worked really hard and won a good portion of their one on one battles. Kid from Newsome (John Hendricks) was explosive off the edges.
Zachary Bendure, Chamberlain 2016 DL
young guy long arms, used hands well, could be big time come Jr/Sr season.
Ricky Wilcox, Lakewood 2014 OL
big guy extremely physical. Has physical tools to be a next level 3 tech.
Cody Polston, Lake Wales 2014 DT
Kid from Lake Wales extremely physical! Great motor. If he learns one more move outside of bull rush he’ll be problematic for any OG and center to deal with.
