BCP top ranked interior offensive lineman, Montel McBride committed to Alabama today while in Oregon competing at The Opening. The Plant City 2014 offensive lineman was nothing short of a top prospect waiting for his time to shine.

This time last year, McBride was not mentioned as one of the top offensive line prospects in the area. He did not have a verbal offer and he was still pretty much under the radar on a state level. This week he is competing with the best competition the nation has to offer.

“It just felt right” said McBride on his verbal commitment to Alabama today. As we have been all over this young man since his sophomore year, the commitment to Alabama is something like a dream come true for Montel. Alabama was his top school and if they offered, it was a great chance McBride would except.

Montel McBride is our 9th ranked prospect overall in the class of 2014 and today marks a milestone in his career. He has been a BCP Exposure Series prospect since his sophomore season and we have watched him develop into an Alabama caliber recruit.
