MIAMI CLIMBS IN LATEST POLLS RELEASED SUNDAY

Hurricanes move up to No. 13 in AP poll, No. 12 in Amway Coaches

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Following a 31-6 win over Duke Friday night at Wallace Wade Stadium, Miami climbed in the latest college football polls released Sunday.

The Hurricanes (3-0, 1-0 ACC) moved up one spot from No. 14 to No. 13 in the Associated Press rankings and one spot from No. 13 to No. 12 in the Amway Coaches Poll.

The rankings are the highest for Miami since Week 6 of the 2016 season, when Miami was ranked No. 10 in both polls.

The Hurricanes entered the season ranked in both preseason polls for the first time since 2010.

Miami next travels to Tallahassee, Fla., for its annual rivalry matchup with Florida State. Kickoff from Doak Campbell Stadium on Oct. 7 is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
