Taking a look at more and more historical numbers, the Double digit win season is easier said than done. In football, a double digit win season is a sign of accomplishment. A team effort and shows some sort of dominance. We took the time to see how many double digit win season each school had.

In Polk County, Lakeland, Fort Meade, Frostproof and Lake Wales have been dominant for a long time. Dreadnaughts are at the top of the mountain with 17 double digit win seasons, Ft.Meade -13, Frostproof -11 and Lake Wales has 10 of their own. Other notable teams:

On top in Pinellas County, Northeast claims 7 double digit win seasons, Largo and Tarpon Springs both with 6 and Clearwater has 5. Countryside’s emergence in the mid to late 2000’s earns them 5 double digit wins while the mid 90’s and early 2000s were good times for Dixie, Dunedin and Seminole.

The school named after the County has just been good. 9 double digit win seasons. 4 of them have come in the last 5 seasons. After the Pasco Parites is the crosstown rival, Zephyrhills who had trend of one double digit win season each decade since 1978 (5 total).

During the Weiner era, Plant has recorded a double digit win season all but 2 season. But the Panthers were dominant in the 70s (13 total double digit win seasons). Hillsborough and Jefferson were both bullies in Hillsborough County during the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Both tied with 10 double digit win seasons. Relatively a newer school compared to the others listed, Armwood has had 9 double digit win season and 2 erased due to forfeits.
