Miami head football coach, Al Golden, held his inaugural summer football camp where plenty of state and national prospects attend to show their stuff in front of the Hurricane staff. Hillsborough’s, Jordan Sherit attended this year’s camp and the experience paid off for the 2013 defensive end prospect. At the conclusion of the camp, Coach Golden escorted Sherit and his family to his office where he offered the 6-4, 225lbs Sherit a verbal scholarship to attend the University of Miami. This is Sherit’s second offer as South Florida was the first school to verbally offer.
