One of the meanest, toughest, nastiest line backers in Pinellas County, Francisco Hernandez still knows he has room to grow. Hernandez is a 6-2 monster for the Largo Packers. Last season he totaled nearly 86 tackles, solidifying the center of the Largo defense.

Even with his great frame and superior athleticism, Hernandez credits his work ethic and coaches for his development. When asked why he is one of the best, he stated “I practice Hard. Coaching! Coach has taught me a lot, Coach Frioud and Coach Rodriguez.”

Hernandez is the dictionary definition of a linenacker. He would scare the average human.  Looks the part for sure, loves hitting, blowing up running backs and sacking quarterbacks. How’s that for his Match.com profile?

Currently, he holds offers from Indiana and Middle Tenn. State. He is receiving interest from, Ball State, Nebraska and Oregon.

What does he feel is needs to improve on? “Everything, I’m not perfect so I need to work on everything so I can be perfect.”

Largo is loaded with skill and if everything comes together, Hernandez feels he and the Packers can be “State Champions.”
