Hart: Best pure scorer in Hillsborough County?

Last night, Chamberlain hosted Wharton in a battle of the undefeated. Both teams boasting a 5-0 record led by Wharton’s Sir Patrick Reynolds and Chamberlain’s Reggie Hart. In a game with lots of action and scoring, Reggie Hart blew up the scoreboard and went on a tear in the second half.

Hart has a scorers’ attitude. There is rarely a bad shot or a shot he cannot make. He can create shots and scoring opportunities on his own and plays well without the ball. He can shoot the set shot or put the ball on the floor; taking it to the rack or hitting the mid range jumper.

Last night, he relentlessly attacked the Wharton defense and drove the Chiefs within 5 points several times. Though Wharton won the game 80-63, Hart was the best player on the floor and was very consistent from the field. He ended the night with 28 points, the bulk of his production coming in the second half.
