Bradenton, FL – A few days after falling to Pasco High in the championship game of the USF Sling 7 Shoot 7 on 7 tournament, Gaither hit the road traveling to Braden River High school to compete in the FCA 7 on 7 Tourney. The Gulf Coast Fellowship of Christian Athletes tourney hosted 16 teams and 4 from Hillsborough County (Wharton, Plant City, Gaiher and Robinson). Gaither went undefeated during the 1 day event defeating Bradenton Southeast in the semi finals 40-6 and Palmetto in the championship Game 34-26. The Cowboys took the number 1 seed after pool play and did not look back. The offense was on fire the last 3 games of the day, scoring on each offensive possession.
