Wheeler is a high-energy interior defensive lineman who gets off the ball with a sense of urgency. The 6’1” 240 pound junior caused constant disruption this season and finished with 81 total tackles, 29 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, 7 hurries, 1 interception, and 3 forced fumbles.
Hernando 2023 DT Devin Williams
Williams is a strong young man with a wrestling background. He played on both sides of the ball for the Leopards this season. He is 6’2” tall and played his junior season at 300+ pounds, but cut weight to get back down to 280 pounds for wrestling. He plans to maintain that weight for his senior season while improving his speed and flexibility. As a junior, he finished with 61 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.
