Ex-Hillsborough star, Tarean Austin transfers to Fort Hayes State

Former Hillsborough Terrier QB, Tarean Austin is reported to have tranferred form New Mexico to Fort Hayes State.  Austin played in seven games as a freshman and made two starts vs UNLV and UTEP.  Austin became the first true freshman to start a game at quarterback since Jeremy Leach in 1988.  He concluded the 2010 season going 44-of-90 with two TDs and 398 yards.

He will join a Fort Hayes team that has had a few Tampa Bay talents; OJ Murdock, Sherrod Murdock and Andreas Ashwood all were D1 tranfers to FHS.  Former Hillsborough County coach, Al McCray is the Assistant Head Coach at Fort Hayes State.  Austin could not be reached for comment.
