We did something a little different this year. With all the video we acquire during our showcases, we wanted to review the film before naming MVPs for E7 Warner. Reviewing the film allows us to be sure or choose another participant based on his performance. Each position coach is responsible for submitting nominees for MVPs and some good players were listed. Here are the participants who took coaching, performed at a high level and ended the Training Camp leaving a lasting impression on the coaches.

10 Things we learned about the linemen
1. Eric Latortue 2015 East Bay DL was almost unstoppable! He showed an extremely high motor and several counter moves when his initial move was neutralized.
2. BRANDON ELLEDGE 2015 Victory Christian OL was pretty good this past weekend. He and MVP Israel Cardona 2016 Weeki Wachee were the two most consistent on the offensive line.
3. DT Robert Mosley 2015 Chamberlain was a beast. The big boy uses his hands extremely well and runs his feet like a linebacker making a tackle in the B gap. Mosley is a two-time E7 kid and each time he really stood out.
4. HAL ROBERSON 2014 Riverview OL has potential. A little raw, but with consistent, hard coaching, he could be a steal for a college program.
5. Sean Kennedy 2015 St. Petersburg DT…if this camp was any indication of how this young man will play this year, all area honors could be with in reach!
6. HUNTER MATIRNE 2015 St Petersburg DL we learned his mother stocks the refrigerator three times a week and he also plays with good hands and live feet.
7. Romello Sekura 2015 Winter Haven DL/OL (6-1/302) besides the best hair of all the linemen, Romello is pretty athletic and has super feet. Plays really good on both sides of the ball.
8. Cole Boozer 2015 Strawberry Crest OL is a big ol’ teddy bear off the field. But transforms on the field. The big man showed some aggressiveness and attitude during 1 on 1s.
9. Ean Biancardi 2016 Lake Wales OL (6’4/291) has a bright future. You can’t coach size and length and he has both. Pretty prospect that will need to get lower body stronger and continue to improve on his mechanics. Keep an eye on this kid!
10. Rowdy Driggers 2015 Lennard OL/DL is another Longhorn we were impressed with. Very very active and has a mean streak!
