Some pretty good competition from the Class of 2017 that’s locked-and-loaded for this Sunday. These five QB’s have camped before and shown that if they’re going to perform at their best then the two invitations left available could be snatched up by these rising juniors. A few things they will have to contend with is the ability to stay consistent and try not to over-think the situation along with adjusting to their receivers they’ve thrown very little to or not at all. All that said, these five prospects stand out as potential attendees for the end of the month at Xecutives.
Leland Johansen – East Lake (6-0/175)
Hard to argue with a performance such as the one Johansen posted in their spring game versus Osceola. Johansen went 7-for-7 with a couple of TD’s and you can’t ask much more than that.
Jacob Thomas – Wesley Chapel (6-3/176)
Thomas appears to be the heir apparent to Austin Sessums who is now off to Wiregrass Ranch. This baseball player-turned-pigskin prospect has developed rather nicely with what limited time he’s seen at the position. His height and strong arm definitely make him an intriguing follow during the course of the day.
Justin Hall – Sunlake (6-4/193)
It’s now Hall’s ship to command now that Dayton Freiden has departed due to graduation. Hall’s frame and similar skill set to Thomas and Anclote’s Brandon Vinkler definitely gives him a chance at making a run at an invite.
Hayden Lindsey – Hardee (6-1/175)
Great finish to the spring in the Wildcats drubbing of Mulberry with Lindsey capping off a strong performance during this entire offseason.
