The final two position groups we are looking at specifically from the Class of 2016 perspective is the linebackers and the cornerbacks and safeties. Eight spots remain at the LB group, while four invites await the cornerbacks and two have been reserved for the safeties. Here are two prospects to watch from the linebackers and safeties, as well as two players to keep an eye on from the cornerback position.

LB’s
Tyler Mirabella (6-0,215) – Steinbrenner
The young man has put his work in during the offseason and hopes to join teammate Patrick Lukert who already has an invite for later this month waiting for him.

Thomas Rowan (6-0,210) – Countryside
Rowan’s one of many talented pieces to the Cougars defensive puzzle this season and we might get to see some of those same flashes of skill that he showed in C’Side’s rout of Citrus 56-6.

Safeties
Dominique Northern (6-0/195) – Winter Haven
Northern was a QB prospect at “The Standard” in Orlando last summer, but with William Tate leading the Blue Devils on offense from under center this young man has made the switch and could be a major factor for an invite on Sunday.

Deshaun White (6-0,185) – Pasco
White’s team may have given up 41 points in their game versus Wiregrass Ranch in the spring, but don’t try and think that the light is green to test this young man’s skill set. Good length and instincts make this prospect very intriguing against some of the younger and smaller wide receivers planning to attend.

CB’s
Alex Munoz-Ortega (5-10,175) – Mitchell
He’s not afraid to make every tackle that can be made on the field so you know he’s already got the “dawg” in him. Let’s see if this Mustang can lead the herd on Sunday or be tamed and forced to channel that aggression for later and take it out on opposing WR’s once the season begins.

De’Ondre Kleidon (5-10,165) – Countryside
Yet another Cougar with potential on defense and he’s just as much a factor for C’Side’s success as any of the other highly-touted prospects on the field for them.
